Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP partner Tom Sand was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Cancer Association (CCA). CCA’s innovative programs leverage music, friendship and play, and create transformative moments of joy for 20,000 children, teens and their family members each year. CCA provides resources in Oregon, southwest Washington and Los Angeles, California, giving kids nationwide the opportunity to connect through music online.

About Tom Sand
Sand focuses his practice on general trial work and business litigation, with emphasis on securities, employment and other commercial matters. In addition, Sand has handled hundreds of arbitrations and also serves as an arbitrator and mediator. Sand was the managing partner of Miller Nash Graham & Dunn (previously known as Miller Nash) from 1999 through 2008. He currently serves on the boards of the Multnomah Bar Association and the Portland Golf Club. Sand has been recognized in Oregon Super Lawyers’ Top 50 list since its inception, including three times in the Top 10. He has also been listed in Best Lawyers in America for Bet-the-Company Litigation for the past ten years, recognized by Chambers USA as a “Leader in Their Field” and elected as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2014. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Oregon before receiving his law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School.
