Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP welcomes its newest Seattle attorney, Whitney Porter Hicks. Hicks joins the firm's real estate and finance team, serving lenders and borrowers in commercial financing, transactions, and workouts, as well as developers, owners, and tenants in commercial, retail, and industrial real estate projects throughout the Northwest.
About Whitney Hicks
Hicks has over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions and asset-based lending. She represents landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions relating to shopping centers, and retail and office space, and owners in the acquisition and sale of real estate. She also works with lenders and borrowers to structure and close acquisition, construction, mezzanine, and securitized loan transactions. Hicks also represents borrowers and lenders in municipal bond and tax-exempt bond financing transactions for schools, affordable housing, community centers, and hospitals. She has extensive restructuring and workout experience. Hicks earned her bachelor of arts degree at Smith College before receiving her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law.
