Jollee Faber Patterson


Jollee Patterson is a partner on the education and public entities teams. With more than 25 years of legal experience, she works with a wide range of education and public institutions, including school districts, special districts, community colleges, independent schools, public and private universities. Jollee spent 16 years as the General Counsel for a major urban school district, during which time she served on the superintendent’s executive cabinet and was the Secretary to the Board of Education for 13 years. Jollee has significant experience resolving complex and highly sensitive issues within a political and public environment. Jollee supports clients in a wide variety of areas including civil rights, constitutional issues, employment, Title IX, governance, public meetings and records, and policies and procedures. She has expertise in many aspects of education, public law, and administration. Jollee also has experience conducting sensitive investigations and assisting with comprehensive responses to compliance audits. Additionally, she is a frequent speaker and trainer.
