John Clarke Elected to Serve on the Board of the U.S. District Court of Oregon Historical Society

Miller Nash Graham & Dunn attorney John Clarke was recently elected to serve a two-year term on the Board of Directors of the U.S. District Court of Oregon Historical Society (the “Society”). The Society’s mission is to celebrate and preserve the history of the U.S. District Court of Oregon. The Society is an entirely volunteer-run organization whose board comprises lawyers, judges and scholars who help manage the Society’s affairs, advise on corporate decisions and help to preserve the history of the U.S. District Court of Oregon. Clarke has been involved with the Society for nearly four years.

About John Clarke
Clarke is an attorney in the firm’s litigation group, where he focuses on securities, corporate governance, class-action and business litigation. He also serves his clients beyond litigation, assisting with internal compliance reviews and representing clients in administrative investigations and enforcement proceedings. Clarke graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University before earning his law degree at the University of Oregon School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. During law school, Clarke obtained valuable experience by serving as a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael J. McShane of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. Before attending law school, he served as a congressional intern for Senator Ron Wyden in Washington, D.C.
